Google Sites is a free and very intuitive website builder.
To create a site on Google Sites, all you need to do is have a Gmail account, sign in, and go to sites.google.com.

In this step, you’ll let Google know that the domain is yours.

At domain registration, go to your domain’s DNS section and click “Edit Zone” > “New Entry”.
In field 1 type “www”, in field 2 choose the type “TXT”, and in field 3 paste the copied value > “Add” > “Save”.
Go back to Webmaster Central and click “Verify”.
It can take minutes or hours to propagate the DNS. Click “Verify” until the green “verified” icon appears.

4. Point To Google Server
With the site verified, you must go back to Google Sites and re-enter the domain. The checked icon will appear. Click “Next”.
Then Google asks you to go back to your registrar and add a new entry of type “CNAME” with value “ghs.googlehosted.com”. > copy this value and don’t forget to include the point.
Before including the new entry, it is important to DELETE the TXT entry as the site has already been verified. Click the “x” > “Save”
Then click on “New entry”, in field 1 type “www”, in field 2 choose the type “CNAME” and in field 3 paste the copied value > “Add” > “Save”.
Then you must go back to Google Sites and click “Done”.
The next step is to go to your browser and verify that the domain is already pointing to Google Sites.
Here too it can take minutes or hours to propagate the DNS. If it gives an error just test it some time later, it will work.
