Types of Animation

We craft animations that best fit your needs. Starting with the creative brief, we are fully engaged in establishing and creating the best style of animation to deliver your message.

2D Animations

In two-dimensional mediums, we create motion graphics, infographics, logo animation, and stop motion animation.

Motion graphics animation range from typography animation, which focuses with typography, to graphical animation, which focuses on representative visual aids. Motion graphics typically incorporate graphics with little to no typography.

They can be overlaid on footage for aesthetic or learning purposes. Motion graphics are concise to allow a clear understanding of the content in a kinetic perspective.

Infographic animation – is a style of computer animation that utilizes numerical information and typography. This style of animation is a great way to portray information to an audience with minimal motion, coloring, styling and layouts.

Stop motion animations are frame-by-frame animation. Cartoons are generally considered stop motion animations.

Geospatial Animations

2.5D animations are 2D graphics in a 3D space. The purpose of these graphics is to portray a complex diagram or physical space without overwhelming the viewer with visual content.

Computer animated 2D graphics in a 3D space allows for more freedom of movement, giving more possibilities to present information and graphics.

There is also the option to bring 3D graphics into a 2D space, which holds the same purpose as 2D graphics in a 3D space.

3D Animations

BPM provides motion graphics, infographics, 3D models, logos, and Geospatial animations. Geospatial animation is a type of animation that focuses on the aerial (or bird’s-eye view) animation of a location. We utilize geospatial animation to visualize a city, continent, or planet.

Most geospatial animation is completely in the 3D realm. There are exceptions; 2D and/or 3D graphics can be combined with geospatial animation to create infographics. 3D motion graphics, infographics and logo animations are similar to 2D animations, except the graphics have an additional depth to them.

Logo Animations

Logo animation is a computer-animated logo. Animating a personal or company logo gives more life to a digitized design. Platforms for logo animation include e-learning videos, commercials, advertisements or company websites.

As we become more digitized as an industry, different platforms become more important in the promotion of a business. An animated logo can help a company gain widespread appeal.

BPM Interactive Media and Animation Process

Idea generation and research: Most of the time the basic idea behind the animation comes from the client itself. The client brings out a raw, fresh idea to us and our task here is to look into the practicality and get it alive on the screen.

Conceptualization and Scripting: An animation video is a visual story; therefore, the prime step we perform is character conceptualization and dialogue scripting. In order to turn the raw idea into a story, we first design characters. The character appearance, their motion and their dialogues are created in this step on animation.

Voice over: The voice of the animation is narrated by a voice over. Therefore, our team dubs the voice over to narrate the script. It is not easy as you might think. It is much more difficult that just recording the audio. While doing a voice over for an animation we have to make sure the audio matches the motion of a character. Lip-sync is the hard task in voice over. Following things are to focus on while doing a voice over for the animation:

Storyboard: Storyboard creation is an essential step followed by our animation designers. In this stage, our animation artists create hand-drawn sketches of the characters in different motion. This sets the mood and layout of the animation video on the storyboard.

Visual Design: The color combination of the video, the visual color tone, light and shadow, etc are the terms taken into consideration in visual design. The overall appearance of the video is defined under this stage.

Animation and editing: The sketches are now animated in a motion picture by implicating animation services like 2D animation services, 3D animation Services, Motion Picture, etc. In this stage all the steps like sketches, voice over, visuals etc are run together on a decided time lapse, which creates the final animation video. Finally the effects like VFX and sound editing etc is performed if required.
